Newspaper Nails!!!

Today I will be doing a tutorial on how to do newspaper nails! For those of you who don't know, newspaper nails are imprints of the ink from a newspaper put on painted nails! They look really cool, and I just love them!
You will need:

• Base coat and top coat
• A non-shimmery nail color
• Any newspaper (use one in a different language for a really cool look)
• 70% or 91% rubbing alcohol

Step 1: Base coat and Color
Apply a thin layer of base coat.
Once that coat dries, put on about 2 coats of a lighter shade nail polish.
Like I said, try and use a non-shimmery color for best results.

Step 2: Newspaper
ONLY START THIS WHEN NAILS ARE ALL DRY!!!
Cut 2" by 1" strips of newspaper, one for each nail.
Dip finger into a bowl of rubbing alcohol.
Dip newspaper strips into bowl of alcohol and shake to remove excess liquid.
Put newspaper on nail, ink side down.
Put paper towel moistened with alcohol on nail for about 10 seconds, applying light pressure like a temporary tattoo.
Slowly pull off newspaper and see the ink transferred to your nail!
Do this for each finger.

Step 3: Top Coat
After 5 minutes of letting your nails dry, put any top coat over the ink.
The texture of the top coat makes the lettering look all cool!
