Nail Polish Review: Sally Hansen Gem Crush

Today I was out shopping in Target and came across Gem Crush by Sally Hansen. I'd heard of this before but didn't think much of it. It looks like any other sparkly polish, so I almost walked right by it. Until I saw an ad with the words full coverage on it. I thought, "No way! Sparkly nail polish needs like 7 coats to fully cover your nails!", so I bought it in #6 Razzle Dazzler. The color is very similar to OPI's Teenage Dream, but while it took me 5 coats to fully cover my nail with Teenage Dream, it took me 2 coats with Razzle Dazzler. It is a very subtle pink with sparkles all over. This is one of my favorite shades and I rate it a 5/5!

  1. Cool! Have you tried any of Sally Hansen's regular or matte shades? If so, do they work the same?
    Thanks,

    1. I've never tried one of Sally Hansen's matte shades, but I've used her Insta-Dri, Hard as Nails Color and the Advanced Hard as Nails Top Coat. All of those work really well, and you don't really need more than one coat for any of them. I'd recommend any of them very highly!
